Barbara Harbach, organ. This disc by well-known organist and composer Barbara Harbach is an exciting foray into the richly diverse world of organ music by women composers. This disc, almost seventy-four minutes long, primarily surveys music not previously recorded including premieres of works by Ellen Taaffe Zwilich and Libby Larsen. Harbach’s previous recording of organ music by women composers, a landmark in the field, was labeled a “revelatory release” by The American Organist.
